Born and raised in Chasks, Minnesota, Leo holds a degree in Forestry. An Active member of the community, he contributes a portion of his royalties to national and local causes.
As an active conservationist and outdoors man, Leo researches the
natural habitat of his subjects, photographing |
| wildlife, habitat and landscapes.
His research results in incredible technical detail of his wildlife art.
Painting professionally now for over a decade, he has become one of the
nations most celebrated and collected, wildlife artist.
Exhibitions include the Dayton Hudson Wildlife Heritage Show and the Kansas City Ducks Unlimited Show. He has finished as "Top Ten" in the Minnesota State Duck Stamp competition. In 1990 and 1991 he was the National Parks Series Earth day artist. In 1993 he was named the official artist for Environmental Awareness Day for the City of Minneapolis. Leo is a contributor to Ducks Unlimited, The Deer Association, Ronald McDonald House, as well as other National charities.

Derk

Born in Germany, Derk immigrated to the United States in 1966 and now resides jointly in Hawaii and Minnesota. Derek began painting in 1968 and has been painting professionally for three decades.
Derek's preferred medium is oil on canvas and the favored subject matters are wildlife, landscapes and western art. |
Stunning composition, exquisite detail and realism are the hallmarks of his work. Over the years, he has garnered several Best of shows in the 1980's in the Western Pencil Drawing
N.S.A.C.S. Shows and Colors of the Heartland Show. Some of his other credits are as follows:

Elizabeth
Peper - Golf |

Elizabeth (Libby White) Peper grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and attended college at Saratoga Sprints, NY
majoring in studio are. As a commercial artist in the advertising field, she gained her technical expertise and precision
skills. It was during this time she met George Peper (now Editor-in-Chief, Golf Magazine) whom she married in 1978.
In 1986, George collaborated with Libby utilizing her
|
artistic illustrations in the book Golf Courses of the PGA Tour
and the book Grand Slam Golf, in 1990.
Libby has become recognized internationally as a premiere artist, known for her technical accuracy and spectacular
3-D depth of her work. Her highly acclaimed and sought after series “The Dream Course” consists of the most beautiful
holes in golf, as selected by George Peper.

Tim

Born in Hull, England, in 1951, Tim grew up on the island of Herm in the Channel Islands.
Tim currently lives with
his wife and children in Cornwall, England.
In 1979, Tim turned his painting hobby into a full time career. Tim’s love of the sea inspired his series “The Yachts of
The America’s Cup” This series is officially licensed by the
|
America’s Cup and depicts the four major classes of
yachts which have raced for the Cup: Schooner, J-Class, Twelve Meter and the Big Racing Cutter. Known for his
extensive research and technical accuracy, each scene depicts an exact moment of a race. The paintings capture the
battling racing yachts at the most significant moment of truth or protest, triumph or disaster. The seas, the sly, the wind,
the sails, the number of crew right down to what the crew was wearing are exact. His paintings are sought by collectors
worldwide and are noted for the superb expression of wind and light.

Born in Duluth, Minnesota, Leanne Smith Hanson attended college at the University of Minnesota with a degree in
landscape architecture. She demonstrated an interest in art at a very early age. Her father, Dr. Arthur E. Smith, Dean of
Fine Arts, University of Minnesota, Duluth, nurtured the interest. Dr. Smiths preferred medium was watercolor. With
all the tools |
of the trade at her disposal, Leanne was provided a vast pallet at the tender age of five. Her preferred
medium is transparent watercolor. Leann has received many private and commercial commissions and has won several
awards.
